The Australian Classification Board is striking out Saints Row 4 from classification. ACB revealed this morning. Upon the inception of an R18+ rating at the beginning of the year, so far, SR4 is the first game to be sequestered. The board passed the motion, classifying the game "RC (Refused Classification.)" To which, aderence of newly implemented guidelines mandate. And according to Publisher Deep Silver, Violition are currently retouching the game to comply with guidelines.
"In the Board's opinion, Saints Row IV, includes interactive, visual depictions of implied sexual violence which are not justified by context," ACB's statement continues. "In addition, the game includes elements of illicit or proscribed drug use related to incentives or rewards. Such depictions are prohibited by the computer games guidelines."
