8 million users have played God in the Little Big Planet series

The Little Big Planet community continues their trail blaze...and sack adventures. Across the entire Little Big Planet series, there are now more than 8 million levels available, Media Molecule stated yesterday.

The milestone comes after reaching their 7th million milestone last year in August. Although, this time around, it took more time than last year's duration of 8 months, to reach. From Jaurary to August of last year, a total of 6 million to 7 million levels were created.

Accordingly, community coordinator, Steven Isbell looks foward to the company's next milestone, their five-year anniversary this October. From October 2008 to November of 2012, Media Molocue has released new entries in the series such as LittleBigPlanet Karting, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, and LittleBigPlanet 2.
