Pikman 3 is rolling out paid DLC and the first content package will be available on the Wii U's eShop today. The game adds to its repertoire a free additional map, a 'Collect Treasure' stage package, that bolsters the game's Mission Mode. And according to Nintendo, they will be breaking in new DLC in the future.
While DLC is nothing if not a money grab, and while it does add value to video games, Nintendo has been slow on the uptake of the business model.
Pikman 3, which launched this Summer is a direct sequel to Pikman 2. Pikman 3 is a real-time strategy game.
