"Don’t these things always end with the princess kissing the frog?" PlayStation Store update 7/9 edition

The PlayStation Store update this week features a new round of sales for Sony's Summer Blast 2013, amongst other new releases.

New PS3 releases coming out of the gate include History Legends of War: Patton for $23.99, Binary Domain for $19.99, and NCAA Football 14 $59.99. PS Vita releases include Total Recoil for $2.49, LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey for $29.99, History Legends of War: Patton for $29.99, Aabs Animals for $4.99, and Coconut Dodge Revitalised for $2.99. Furthermore, PS2 classics include Castle Shikigami 2 for $9.99. Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD has also been added to the Instant Games Collection. Lastly, there's a PS Vita demo of Coconut Dodge Revitalised available.

“Sit your ass down in that chair and drink your &@&&@#& TEA!” PlayStation Store update 7/2 edition

It's that time of the month again, and yes, I do mean the Playstation Store update. This week, Sony is kicking off the summer with a bang with many new releases, and heavy discounts. First, Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War is available for $19.99, and Tour De France 2013 100th Edition for $49.99, both see releases as full PS3 games. Second, on the PSN list, MLB The Show: Home Run Derby is available for $5.99. Third, Farming Simulator for $9.99; Pinball Heroes Complete for $5.99; Velocity Ultra for $7.49 all see releases on the PS Vita. Warriors Orochi is the only PS2 title available, and for $9.99. New entries on PlayStation Plus include Battlefield 3, added to the Instant Game Collection.

Further, PS3 demos include but one: GT Academy 2013. And PS Vita demos include Pinball Heroes Complete and Velocity Ultra. Tune in next week, where you can gobble up more discounts on various video games and movies, in the last week of the PSN Summer Blast 2013 sale.

PSN Summer Blast sale kicks off in your living room tomorrow

Sony's setting the Summer ablaze, not with rain, nor heatwaves; but with their annual PlayStation Network Summer sale. Which kicks off tomorrow, 7 July. Sony announced today two weeks of discounts. Titles such as Just Cause 2, and hit movies including The Dark Knight will be included in the sale.

The weeks of July 2nd till the 9th, and July 9th till the 16th will each see a selection of video game and movie sales. Of course, PlayStation Plus users will see a greater depth of these sales and discounts.
