Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame set for mobile platforms July 25

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame, a remake of the 1993 sequel to the original Prince of Persia sets its beady eyes on IOS and Android. Ubisoft today announced that the $2.99 remake it will see a release on both platforms July 25.

Taking place 11 days after the original game's story concluded, and spanning 14 levels, the platform game will be gesture-based, and make us of virtual joystick controls. Included in the reinvisioned game are GameCenter leaderboards on iOS, retooled visuals, and a new combat system. The reskinned combat system arms players to the teeth with new combos, to duke it out with multiple enemies.

Summer just got a whole lot hotter. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is cooking up a sizzling hot Summer sale to go along with all the other sales taking place abroad. For the bottom-barrel price of $0.99, on the App Store you can penny-pinch Warner Bros. games. With succulant titles available such as Scribblenauts, Remix, Man of Steel, Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7, Lego Batman, DC Superheroes, Batman Arkham City Lockdown, there's not much that can go wrong.
