RedOctane joins Blue Goji to create social fitness game

RedOctane founders, Kai and Charles Haung are developing a new fitness game for a new platform aimed at mobile platforms. The makers of the hit series Guitar Hero want to provide fitness enthusiasts with a platform where they can be immersed in their workout routine, and create an experience more enjoyable and social.
Blue Goji, the new company aims to reinvent the way video games connect with our exercise equipment. The goal for Blue Goji is to create a new platform that will interface with exercise equipment to track user's progress. Further, the company is also looking for support from the development community. “Our goal is to help people lead healthier and more active lives by providing anyone across all fitness levels with a fun way to work out, one that is accessible and compelling to use,” Kai Huang said in a statement. “With Blue Goji, we’re developing a platform to support a variety of entertainment content that enables people to immerse themselves in their workout routines for a more enjoyable and social experience.” Source: Gamespot

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame set for mobile platforms July 25

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame, a remake of the 1993 sequel to the original Prince of Persia sets its beady eyes on IOS and Android. Ubisoft today announced that the $2.99 remake it will see a release on both platforms July 25.

Taking place 11 days after the original game's story concluded, and spanning 14 levels, the platform game will be gesture-based, and make us of virtual joystick controls. Included in the reinvisioned game are GameCenter leaderboards on iOS, retooled visuals, and a new combat system. The reskinned combat system arms players to the teeth with new combos, to duke it out with multiple enemies.

Summer just got a whole lot hotter. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is cooking up a sizzling hot Summer sale to go along with all the other sales taking place abroad. For the bottom-barrel price of $0.99, on the App Store you can penny-pinch Warner Bros. games. With succulant titles available such as Scribblenauts, Remix, Man of Steel, Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7, Lego Batman, DC Superheroes, Batman Arkham City Lockdown, there's not much that can go wrong. Other titles include:

Bastion and Midway Arcade.

If you're on Android, and more than a few of you are, you can scoop up these same titles on the Google Play Store. Stayed tuned, however, more titles and price changes are forthcoming. This is what fans appreciate, more than anything.
