Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation headed to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC

Spin-offs and remakes are proving to be efficient business, and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation joins the ranks. Ubisoft has confirmed that Liberation will be coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2014.

The HD re-release, developed by Ubisoft Sofia features a host of enhancements, which include new shaders, bolstered textures, animations, free-running and A.I. Additionally, the game features 15 new missions; and, while touch screen elements have been omitted, existing missions have been tweaked per player feedback.

The re-release mirrors pre-order incentives offered by brick and mortar retailers such as GameStop, and online retailer Amazon.com
