Samsung and Verizon will Support AWS LTE for the Galaxy S4

Samsung will issue a software update sometime in the not-too-distant future. This update is intended to support AWS. Verizon was the first to plant the seed, and the functionality into Samsung's Galaxy S4 phone. As a carrier that supports AWS LTE, a spectrum band for wireless carriers. AWS has been slow to roll-out its network coverage because of on-going non-continuity of its usage. Verizon's Mike Haberman addressed this to Bloomberg.

He stated that Samsung intends to support the wireless spectrum band AWS. He further added, by incorporating an update to support the wireless spectrum band. He didn't state the when and where. However, expedited roll-out may be contingent on the adoption rate of the 4G networks that provide a higher-ceiling. While the recently released Nokia Lumia 928 supports AWS, its competitors: Samsung and Microsoft do not for their Galaxy and Windows Phone, respectively.
