World of Tanks: 360 Edition Headed to Non-Gold Xbox Live Members

Developer Wargaming.net confirms that Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition can be accessed by non-paying Xbox Live subscribers. Although, no further details were given. According to Polygon, a free trial of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition will be available to non-paying Xbox Live members. Paid-subscribers to the Xbox Live service will have full access to the free-to-play game. In fact, beta registrations are open now. In the game, players will be able to purchase premium accounts, with the in-game currency, gold. Thus, expediting experience earned, and credits accumulated within the game. Similarily, players on the Windows PC version of the game have the option of spending real money on premium accounts. Which, like stated above is, but one avenue to earn in-game gold. In addition, restrictions by Microsoft have not allowed for a fluent price model; and, Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi's had this to say:

"Microsoft has their own rules [for] membership subscriptions, so [there are] certain things we could not break."
